The Little Mermaid KIDS

Performance Dates: Nov. 15 & 16, 2024

Performance Venue: Center High School (8715 Holmes)

Audition (for specific roles) Date: 

Sat., Sept 28th - 4:00-6:00pm

(Students will select specific show cuts provided at registration.

Show will be single cast and no callbacks)


Rehearsal Dates: 

October 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, 4:00-6:00, 

November 2nd & 9th, 4:00-6:00

Tech/Show Dates: 

Nov. 14th: 5:00-8:00 - Tech

Nov. 15th: 6pm Show, Nov. 16th: 1pm & 6pm Shows

(costume check-in after last performance)

STUDENT AVAILABILITY:

Due to the small cast size and limited rehearsal times, only 1 absence permitted. No conflicts will be accepted for tech & performances, so please check schedules before signing up for this program.

CASTING & OTHER DETAILS

Casting: This production has a very limited cast size and will be single cast (rather than double cast). All enrolled students will be in the production, auditions are for specific roles. Registration is very limited, so please check your schedules ahead of time.

​

Availability/Conflicts: Due to the small cast size and limited rehearsal times, only 1 absence is permitted. No conflicts will be accepted for tech nor performances, so please check schedules before signing up for this program.

Tuition Fee: This program has a $275 tuition fee that will be invoiced beginning Tues., Sept 24th, due by Fri., Sept 27th in advance of auditions. Students will receive 2 complimentary tickets via a code that can be redeemed online, in advance. All other tickets will be available for purchase beginning approx. Nov. 1st.

Show Length: This is an abbreviated version of The Little Mermaid, geared for grades 2-5th. You can anticipate a 30-40min show, aimed specifically for this age group. Also note that this is a pilot production, meaning we are part of the show's overall development.

​

Costumes/Make-up: Costuming will be provided by Stage Right for this production. Students may need to provide limited make-up and will need to provide modesty layers and jazz shoes.

​

Photo/Video Release: Disney requires all students to have a specific, signed photo/video release for participation. You can find the release linked here. If your family is unable to commit to this, we will not be able to have them join this program.
